It is quite a turn off to me when Substacks that were 'free' to comment become 'paid only' can comment, I just stop reading those. If you come out of the gate as a pay only page, there is no piss-off element. It's consistant.
This is among the issues with the subscription UX design that motivates me to use a 3rd party donation site. Substack seems to think that adding friction after engagement (original subscription signup, or commenting) is better than adding friction before. As if what nonpaying readers want is to feel like they fell for a trap over and over. Hilariously, the addition of the custom footers a couple months ago now makes it easier tell when subs have paid turned on, so you usually no longer have to subscribe to them to find out.
The covid mrna "vaccines" are known to suppress or disrupt CD8 t-killer cells. HIV AIDS is known to attack CD4 t-helper cells. I expect that is the basis the analogy.
I wonder if substack is pushing stackers to go subscription? This is the 3rd one I'm seeing make the change since el gato posted his announcement. Maybe once they reach some # of subscribers? Or some amount of activity?
A quick google says "The results show that the lymphocytopenia in patients with COVID-19 was mainly manifested by decreases in the CD4+ T lymphocyte number"
Hmmmm ...interesting. Iirc it was Dr Ryan Cole who reported seeing CD8 suppression following the vaxes leading to rise in cancer, shingles, herpes outbreaks, etc.
In any event, I won't permit mRNA experiments on me!

I agree 100%.

Try adding friction after engagement with your friends, right? Kinda schizoid.....best
I'll go post. I think you're right, it's meant to be CD4 both times

Interesting.

which appears to agree with Brian's comment reply above.
I guess it just proves my point: asking Jessica directly removes all conjecture as to her intended analogy.
