Thank you. I am almost hoping to catch this weak ass virus and test my immune system. At least the wait would be over then and I could thump some exemptions around?
No, but given that A.1 was the dominant USA lineage it was probably within that group which would be close to the original Wuhan strain. Even a year later it was more than enough to protect me from working closely with an Omicron infected person for two days in a row (my main symptom was transient back pain - not exactly what I was expecting - seems everyone has completely different symptoms) . Of course I take Vitamins C & D, Quercetin and Zinc to keep my immune system functioning properly and I have no underlying conditions (mid-40's). Seriously, you have an immune system! And it is quite capable of protecting you from Covid, especially if you are in moderately good health.
Had covid the first time in October of 2020. It was rough like a bad flu but I survived without coming close to death or hospitalization. I was RELEIVED it was done. I am 70 with a few co-morbidities. I had it again in October 2021 following a road trip with my daughter who coughed for three days straight. After we both tested positive (presumably delta) we headed home. She slept the whole way. For her it was a mild flu, for me a mild cold. If I had been vaccinated it would have been much worse. Thank goodness I wasn't vaccinated :)
I hope you stay well!

We'll see :D
Well, in that case catch it and move on! Looking forward to learning about how well those masks worked.
Yay Globalism!
ps Get plenty of D3, C, zinc, quercetin, melatonin, etc. And 🤗
On it!
I wish you well! My prior illness (Jan 21) protected me from an Omicron exposure.
Sounds great! Did they sequence your infection to determine variant?

Glad to hear such a positive outcome - your immune system must be top notch to have fared so well.
Where been?
