Life is not a fictitious novel. I like to know what’s going to happen next.
Which makes the Internet a valuable tool: we can look around the world and see what’s happening, providing insight into the possibilities that could occur at home.
One example is the number of doses the government is expecting we will need. Israel has been doing boosters since July, we know that’s next, but boosters for how long?
One hint comes from an image that has been circulating online, showing the EU vaccine passport, replete with 8 slots for the COVID vaccines. 2 shots + 6 boosters.
This is clearly an electronic device, so the number is essentially unlimited, but today I stumbled across support for 8 doses in Australia.
On the bottom of the COVID-19 Vaccinations in Australia page there is a table showing the vaccine agreements and deliveries for Australia:
It looks like they have an agreement for
200,800,000 doses / 25,000,000 people = 8 doses per person.
It’s only evidence (not proof) but the feeling of deja vu is strong.
Have you seen any evidence in your country of the number of doses expected to be delivered in the coming years?
Today in Canada they started substituting "booster" for "next dose" all over the media!
They give us 4 years to croak.
